The Edge-Core Skype WiFi Phone Cradle and Wireless Router is an innovative design by Edge-Core to help home users complete their home voice network.

The WA4101-CAP uses the IEEE 802.11b/g wireless standards, and operates on the 2.4GHz frequencies so it is also compatible with 802.11b WLAN networks.

The WA4101-CAP can also be used with either a Broadband ADSL or Cable Modem via 100BaseT Ethernet port and share broadband connections with multiple computers via Wi-Fi connection. The modern design of WA4101-CAP can also act as a charger for the Edge-Core WM4101 and WM4201 Wi-Fi phones.

When the Wi-Fi phones are placed on the WA4101-CAP, the cradle AP detects the Wi-Fi phone and starts recharging power for the Wi-Fi Phones. The Edge-Core WA4101-CAP is a perfect solution for users who wants to combine their wireless router and charger to save space on their desktop, and to provide a modern look on the desktop.
